'Me2' LOS ANGELES EXTENDED!

www.Me2LA.com

29 Purple Turtles Productions, presents ME2, proclaimed "Flawless!" by LA Splash Magazine, ME2, directed by Brian Howie (Pieces (of Ass),) details the events of a single LA girl's worst nightmare -- the loss of her cell phone. Based on real life events, actress Courtney Fine takes her audience through the course of one very bad date in which she encounters an unexpected disaster that lands her in jail. Allowed just one phone call, and with no cell phone to provide her with that lifetime list of phone numbers, Courtney calls a skeptical and unsympathetic operator and uses her wit and charm to get through this amusingly harrowing experience. With a voice introduction by John Walsh ("America's Most Wanted"), Me2 spotlights a neurotic, single Jewish girl's life as she tries to understand her newfound identity along with the perils and perks of dating in Los Angeles. As Courtney soon discovers: we are all equal to the sum or our Call History. Me2 premiered off-Broadway in New York and followed with a special engagement run at the historic Globe Playhouse in Los Angeles. Due to its overwhelming response and success, Me2 was exteneded by popular demand thru spring 2006 at Masquer's Cabaret in West Hollywood.
